9500# NA Farm Rules (Updated 2024)

General Rules

  1. Max Weight 9500 lbs (5% over Maximum, 9545lbs)

  2. 7 MPH Speed Limit

    100 feet to set speed, after 100 feet speeding is a disqualification

  3. All drivers must wear long pants and close toed shoes

  4. All drivers must be 16 years of age or older and have a written permission from a parent or legal guardian if under 18 years of age, and approved by SCWTP Board members.

  5. First puller in each class has the option to come back at the end of the class.

Engine

  1. 510 Cubic inches OR stock block OR OEM Replacement. Must retain stock bore and stroke for Stock or OEM over 510 cubes.

    Must have paperwork to prove replacement.

  2. SCWTP reserves the right to pump any block in case of protest (see protest rules)

    Refusal to pump the block will be seen as illegal and follow protest fines below.

  3. Must run stock fuel for that make/model (Gas, Diesel, LP)

  4. No water injection or fuel enhancers

  5. Factory or OEM manifolds, no alterations.

RPM Monitor

  1. 2800 RPM max, all tractors must have a functional rear RPM plug-in device

    Check top 5 after pull using the box

  2. If a tractor records greater than 2800 RPM during the pull, it will be checked on the trailer, If a spike is recorded at the trailer, the tractor is disqualified.

Safety

  1. RPM Plug required

  2. Must have working brakes

  3. Must have 1/8” shield 360 around front damper pulley

  4. Wheelie bars highly recommended

  5. Must have hood, fenders, and sheet metal in factory locations

  6. Exhaust must exit vertically

  7. Any parts or weights that fall off under the green flag results in a disqualification

Chassis

  1. Must have at least one: Working 3 Point, PTO, Hydraulics (implement)

  2. 20.8x38 or 18.4x42 Maximum Tire. No cut or any sort.

  3. 20” drawbar, rigid in all directions

    1/2” Minimum thickness, 3”x4” Pulling hole

  4. Narrow Front allowed

  5. Transmission must be stock appearing to make/model

Protest Rules

  1. Anyone protesting the legality of a tractor, per the rules will be required to put up $250.00. If the tractor is found to be in violation, the protestor will retain $250.00 and any disciplinary action will be handled by the tech official and the SCWTP Board. If tractor is found to be with-in rules, the owner of the suspect tractor retains the $250.00

  2. All protests follow open hood rules.

    If you protest someone else, SCWTP will inspect the same thing on your tractor.

    Performance Violations (i.e. Weight, Drawbar)

    1. First Offense: No Points and $250 fine

    2. Second Offense: No Points and $300 fine

    3. Third Offense: No Points and $350 and forfeit rest of season

      Fines MUST be paid before next hook.
